Following his M.A. in International and Comparative Criminal Justice and B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice, both of which were taken at the University of Leeds, Ian joined the RJC in January of 2013. He is leading a project for the T2A Alliance and Barrow Cadbury on the use of restorative justice with young adults, looking at the links between maturity and desistance in this age group. He has also undertaken research for Ecology Building Society, Restorative Solutions and the University of Leeds’ Centre for Criminal justice Studies, and is currently employed part-time as a consultant for the Bureau of Anticrime Policy.
