Ragnhild Aslaug Sollund is Professor in Criminology at the University of Oslo. She wrote her Dr.polit degree about immigrant women’s occupational mobility and has conducted research on labour migrants and refugees for a number of years, including studies about social integration, social exclusion and violence. She has further investigated racial profiling in the police. Over the past years she has dedicated herself to the field of green criminology, specifically the field of animal abuse and she is currently doing an empirical study in the illegal wildlife trade in Norway. She was editor of Global Harms: Ecological Crime and Speciesism and coeditor of Ecoglobal crimes, contemporary problems and future challenges.
